Con Intel: SDCC 2017 Professional Registration is Open

by Transmute Jun

It was only last month that we were all enjoying the fun and frenzy that is San Diego Comic Con (SDCC). Even so, preparations are already underway for SDCC 2017, to be held July 20-23 next year (with Preview Night on July 19). While general attendees are anxiously awaiting news regarding pre-registration for 2017, Comic Con International (CCI) has already posted the form for professionals to use to apply for special status next year.

UPDATE 9/1/16:  CCI has posted a new form which is for both SDCC 2017 and WonderCon 2017. The SDCC application deadline remains September 30, 2016. The original form to apply for professional status at SDCC 2017 was actually a combination form that was also used for WonderCon 2016.

Professionals should check their status on their Member ID accounts (you can login to your Member ID account here). If your status is ‘due’, then you need to reapply for the 2017 show.

If you need to apply for professional status in 2017, you should get right on it. Applications are due September 30, 2016.
