Holiday TV Marathons & Events

By Alyssa

TV marathons aren’t relegated to New Year’s Day any more. Starting on Christmas Eve we will be treated to numerous TV specials and marathons before the New Year. Geeky highlights include HBO’s Game of Thrones, which will be showing every episode from the very beginning  and in order starting Monday December 26th with season 1. Check the listings below for the times.  AMC is kicking off their marathons on the 26th with Human’s, Into the Badlands, and seasons 4 through 7 of the Walking Dead. Another not to be missed highlight is TBS’s rotating marathons. They’re airing five of their original comedies starting on Christmas night with People of Earth, Angie Tribeca, Search Party, Wrecked, and The Detour.

Won’t be home? Make sure you set your DVRs and have plenty of space available. Please double check the times for your specific time zone!

We’ve also highlighted a couple of not to be missed specials, Doctor Who on Christmas Day and the Season 4 premiere of Sherlock on New Years Day. Join the discussion on the FoCC forum and share your highlights or tell us about anything we missed.

Alyssa bought her first comic at age 7 & was hooked. She has collected comics most of her life. Recently she has branched out to comic art and books. She goes to as many con's as she can & enjoys the long form story telling of TV and dark chocolate and wine, can't forget wine, oh, but then there's dark beer. Let's just go all in & say she's a foodie, and can always be enticed with new & fun foods.
