Next Week in TV: 4/16 – Space, Science, and our planet Earth

By DRWHO42 & Alyssa

As we celebrate the return from of our beloved Doctor and our recommenced weekly trips in the TARDIS we look ahead to another fun week in TV. Into the Badlands will certainly be another dazzler based on what we have seen so far. This week will center Sunny and we hope to see more fantastically choreographed fight sequences. New to the Sunday lineup is the White Princess, starring Jodie Comer, which is the follow-up to the 2013 series White Queen starring Rebecca Ferguson. Better Call Saul started off where we left off and each week brings some interested developments.

The Blacklist returns this week and from what we are hearing not only will we get to know more about the events that lead to Dembe’s betrayal we will get to know a little more about Mr. Kaplan in the coming weeks. Also on our radar is Netflix which is releasing two very interesting series this week – Girlboss and Bill Nye Saves the World.

This week we will see a few season finales. Starting Monday with 24: Legacy followed by The Expanse and The Magicians at mid-week. All three had great seasons and while The Expanse and The Magicians have scored renewals we will have to wait for a bit to know if 24: Legacy will return for a second season. Speaking of renewal news there are strong indications for Agents of SHIELD returning next season. While nothing has been confirmed please check out our TV Renewal thread  on the FoCC forum (click here) for the latest updates. We are posting there as soon as we receive the news.
